Blooming Excellence Continues: More Dutch Innovators at IFEX 2025 — Part 2

The 23rd IFEX China- Kunming International Flowers and Plants Expo (shorted as IFEX China) will be held on September 19th -21st, 2025 at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Expo brings together more than 500 exhibitors from 15 countries, making Kunming once again a global center for horticultural innovation and trade. As one of Asia's leading flower industry events, this year's IFEX will cover 60,000 square meters and more than 90% of the exhibition space has already been booked.

 

The Netherlands, a global leader in sustainable horticulture, will bring its signature innovation ecosystem to the 2025 Kunming International Flower Expo. Organized with support from the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV), the delegation will feature over 30 pioneering companies and alliances showcasing transformative solutions for efficient, eco-friendly floriculture and protected farming. 1.      Kunming Hasgard Horticulture Co., Ltd. (Part of Hasfarm Group)

Kunming Hasgard, part of Hasfarm Group, operates 45 hectares of farms in China producing 60 million premium cut flowers annually. Group-wide, Hasfarm employs over 5,000 staff across 300+ hectares in Vietnam (Dalat Hasfarm), Indonesia (Toba Hasfarm), and China. Kunming Hasgard Seedlings produce over 400 million seedlings yearly in partnership with top global breeders, supplying both internal farms and export markets. Utilizing advanced European greenhouse tech and expert oversight, offer 200+ varieties across 8 categories to the domestic market, driving sustainable production standards.

 

2.      Kunming Van den Berg Roses Co., Ltd.

Van den Berg Roses, a subsidiary of the ASX-listed Lynch Group, is a comprehensive producer, seller, and importer/exporter of cut flowers. Operating from 800,000 sqm of high-tech automated greenhouses with cold storage in Yiliang and Lufeng, utilize precision climate, irrigation, and nutrient systems. Van den Berg Roses produce 200 million stems annually, including roses, tulips, lilies, gerberas, and amaryllis, sold under Jiahe, Heguan, and Xinghe brands. The independent grading standards and strict quality control ensure premium flowers for domestic and international markets, supported by mature technology and robust supply chains.

 

3      Schreurs Holland B.V

Schreurs is a Dutch family-owned breeder established in the 1940s, specializing in cut roses and gerberas. Headquartered in the Netherlands with subsidiaries in Kenya, Ecuador, and Colombia, its varieties dominate markets – representing a significant share in Ecuador and 25% of Kenya's production. Schreurs acts as the exclusive China agent, introducing, promoting, and producing high-quality rose seedlings. Leveraging Dutch genetics and global R&D, Schreurs delivers sought-after varieties tailored for professional growers in the Chinese market.

 

4.      Yuxi De Ruiter Flower Co., Ltd.:

Yuxi De Ruiter Flower Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the renowned Dutch breeder De Ruiter, brings world-class genetics to China's vibrant floral industry. This operation specializes in the production of premium pot rose seedlings, cut rose seedlings, hydrangeas, and fresh cut roses.

With De Ruiter's century-long Dutch breeding legacy, Yuxi De Ruiter imports exciting new pot, cut flower, and garden varieties from global hubs like the Netherlands, Ecuador, and Kenya. These varieties undergo rigorous adaptation trials within China to ensure optimal performance in local conditions.

 

The company operates with a strong market focus, utilizing customer feedback to select the most promising varieties for large-scale promotion. Beyond supplying elite plant material, Yuxi De Ruiter provides essential technical support services to its clients, guaranteeing successful cultivation and market success for new introductions.

 

5.      Yuxi Rijkland Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd.

Founded in 2016, Yuxi Rijkland integrates import trade and domestic production. Yuxi Rijkland specialize in distributing Dutch bulbs, seedlings, potted plants, and horticultural automation equipment in China, representing brands like VITROPLUS, FLORENSIS, JAVO, and TTA through with partner Shanghai Hezhong. Yuxi Rijkland have two Yunnan production bases focus on specific crops: potted amaryllis and gloriosa lilies in Majing, and Ilex (holly) berries in Malong, all grown from premium Dutch starting materials.
